Jeffrey Kyle Anderson

Mr. Anderson is a 1978 graduate of Colgate University and received his law degree from Albany Law School in 1981. He represents clients in all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases and has specialized in the litigation and trial of complex products liability claims, involving a wide range of consumer, commercial and industrial products including automobiles and restraint systems, recreational vehicles, swimming pools, printing presses, power equipment and other products capable of causing injury or death when defectively designed or manufactured. In 2001 the New York Law Journal reported a verdict of $4.8 million, in a case tried by Mr. Anderson, as the highest products liability verdict in upstate New York in 2000.

Mr. Anderson has lectured for more than two decades on personal injury, wrongful death, trial practice and products liability law to trial lawyers, law students, engineers and community organizations. He has served as director and committee chairperson of numerous organizations and frequently lectures at continuing legal education programs.

Mr. Anderson is admitted to practice in State and Federal Court in New York and is a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association and served as President of the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association during 1998-1999.

Peter J. Moschetti Jr., Esq.

Mr. Moschetti is a 1981 graduate with honors of the University of New Haven, Connecticut, who later graduated with honors from Albany Law School in 1984. He was employed as a prosecutor in the Nassau Country District Attorney’s Office from 1984 to 1987.

Since leaving the District Attorney’s Office, he has focused on the trial of personal injury and wrongful death cases, including complex products liability and medical malpractice. Over the years, he has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Additionally, Mr. Moschetti has achieved record-setting verdicts in a number of counties in the Capital Region.

He also defends individuals and corporations charged with serious crimes in both the state and federal courts. Over the years, he has been appointed as a special prosecutor on a number of high-profile criminal cases in the Capital District.

In addition to the trial courts for the state of New York, Mr. Moschetti is admitted to practice in the U.S. Federal Court for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of New York. He has argued appeals in the New York Court of Appeals and in the Second, Third, and Fourth Departments of the Appellate Division of the state of New York, and in the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, American Association for Justice, New York Trial Lawyers Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Since 1987, Mr. Moschetti has given numerous lectures to lawyers for continuing legal education in the areas of civil and criminal law and has taught students trial practice at Albany Law School.

David J. Taffany

Mr. Taffany is a 1979 graduate with honors of the State University at Albany and received his law degree from Albany Law School in 1984. He was admitted to practice in the State of New York in January of 1985. He has been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York in 1985, the Western District of New York in 1988 and the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Upon his graduation from law school, he practiced for 17 years with the law firm of E. Stewart Jones in Troy, New York. As a partner in that firm, he has specialized in all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases, including complex medical malpractice, products liability and labor law. Over the years, he has obtained numerous verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million.

He is also involved in the defense of individuals charged with criminal offenses. He has obtained numerous acquittals representing clients who have been charged with felonies or misdemeanors. He handles cases in federal and county courts as well as local criminal courts.

He lectures frequently to lawyers and law students in the areas of personal injury, criminal law and trial practice. He has argued appeals at the state and federal levels. He has been appointed as an Alternative Dispute Resolution Arbitrator/Mediator in the Northern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
